Related term lists inserted as "LSI keywords"

Google has not confirmed any use of LSI and John Mueller has said LSI keywords have no effect. Inserted term lists add nothing for readers and match Google's description of keyword stuffing.

Delete term lists and forced synonym sentences. Where a related concept is genuinely missing, cover it in a proper sentence or section.

1. Search the CMS, briefs and content templates for the phrases "LSI" and "LSI keywords" to find where the practice is in use.
2. Crawl the site and extract main content; flag paragraphs with a high share of comma separated noun phrases and no verbs.
3. Check meta keywords, alt text and hidden elements for related term lists.
4. Manually review flagged pages for sentences that add a synonym but no new information.

Indirect. Estimate only: little upside from removal alone, but it removes a keyword stuffing risk and improves readability.
